and five years of iteration
176 Farming takes its name from the 176 pilot fields where our first platform was tested. Those farms — across rice, vegetables, stone fruit and dairy-forage — taught us a simple truth: a platform that doesn't work for the field crew doesn't work at all.
We began in 2020 as a small team of agronomists, data engineers and farm-ops veterans, and have grown into a 180-person company powering smart farms across China, Southeast Asia and Australia.
Today we serve 1,200+ farms and agri-groups. What hasn't changed: every feature has to earn its place on the tractor and in the packhouse first — and only then does it get shipped.
Data should serve the farm,
not the other way around
We don't believe in collecting data for data's sake. Every number on our dashboard has to drive a decision — and every decision has to be traceable back to a number.
We also don't believe in replacing the farmer. The best farms we work with have 40-year agronomists standing next to 4-year sensors. Our platform exists to make both of them more effective.
